Linux - Jnos Setup and Configuration HOW-TO

Converse Channel Data file

By John Martin KF8KK

The converse server is capable of many thousands of 'channels' or 'chat rooms'.

In Michigan, the ARPSC affiliated Jnos converse nodes are setup to default their local users to a converse channel corresponding to the state 'county number' for their county.

My converse node is in Leelanau county, and such, users are defaulted to start off in converse channel 45.  Users can switch to any channel they want, even those not listed.

It is handy to provide the users with a channel listing for commonly used converse channels.

45 Leelanau
10 Benzie
5 Antrim
28 Grand Traverse
40 Kalkaska
51 Manistee
83 Wexford
100 Gossip
101 DX
1001 IOOK
1002 KMY Channel
